Maria Mitchell

In collaboration with the Maria Mitchell Association, Anna has created a collection of Maria Mitchell inspired pieces. Maria Mitchell was a female astronomer based on Nantucket in the 19th Century. Mitchell advocated for females pursuing formal education as well as females in science. 

​About APJ: A graduate gemologist and Nantucket Island Washashore, Anna opened her boutique in May of 2023 for her inaugural season on Washington Street (just steps from the MMA aquarium and classroom. Featuring exclusively female designers, Anna is proud to partner with the Maria Mitchell Association for fabulous pieces that are wearable, meaningful, and give back. 

20% of each item sold will be donated back to the Maria Mitchell Association to continue to honor her legacy.
